As long as I can remember, music has had a great influence in my life. I would love to sing for anybody. As far back as I can remember, I would listen to music my mother played in the house, Barbra Streisand, Dionne Warwick, Tony Bennett, and Perry Como. I would learn songs from the radio and would sing them to their exact sound and style. I could even sing all the musical instruments along with the vocal parts. Music was the magic in my life and it still is. I have been singing since the age of 12 in school choir productions and continued through high school graduation. I discovered the theatre in 7th grade and added acting to my love of performing and creating a story behind each song that I sing. It was a natural progression for me to be drawn to Musical theatre. My mother also was fond of the art form and I listened to West Side Story, Camelot and My Fair Lady amongst many others as an impressionable child.

During my high school years, I was in such shows as Cabaret, The Fantasticks, and Hello Dolly! I was also a soloist in the Chorus and received top honors at State festivals. Since graduating High School, I have performed in a number of other musicals, which included Company, She Loves Me, Baby, The Man Of La Mancha, Fiddler on the Roof, and Carousel. For over twenty years, I was the lead male soloist in two local party orchestras, The New World and Galaxy, singing standards and popular music of the time. I have also performed in the Fort Lauderdale and West Palm Beach Gay Men's Chorus and performed as a featured soloist in several concerts. On a final note, I was the proud recipient of a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Florida International University in the area of Theatre in June 1990.

My Philosophy

I want my CDs to be an expression of my love for Musical theatre, but also to break some new ground in the recording industry. I hope to share a gay man's expression of his love and desperation with the men in his life. My wish is to enlighten the world about one gay man's plight to seek happiness. Even though my desires mirror a straight woman's needs in a relationship, the meaning is clear; we are human and seek a connection with another person. And, that we all seem to face the same conflict. We can't get what we want from that other person!
